Turnaround Workshops
Business Consulting LLC regularly holds turnaround workshops in Monsey, Lakewood and Brooklyn. In our workshops we use examples from hundreds of businesses we have worked with to show how a business can be made more profitable. There are tools for improving all aspects of business. These tools are not new and they are not rocket science, yet most business owners were never shown the basics of how to use them. The purpose of the workshops is to teach some of these tools, to make owners familiar with them, so they can use them in their business. It is also a chance to meet some of our consultants and ask questions about specific business situations. There is usually no charge, but space is limited so it is recommended to reserve a seat in advance.
Business Workshop Topics
Optimizing operations and Productivity
Profit engineering with the P&L
Business Tools For Retail, E-tail, Wholesale & Distribution
Preparing your exit strategy
Business Tools For Restaurants and Hospitality
Preparing a successful Marketing strategy
All workshop include a Q&A session with Phil 'Avner' Costeff, a management consultant who has consulted to hundreds of businesses owners nationwide
What happens in a workshop
Our workshops are usually 2 hours long and explore business tools, useful in restructuring a business to achieve desired profit goals. Restructuring is often the way to turn around businesses that experience reduced cash flow, lower sales, and imbalances between overhead and gross margins. It is essential when scaling up a business, and in freeing up owners to work on (instead of in) the business.
These workshops are open to Frum community business owners and managers. They includes actual examples that have worked for real companies. Participants will have a chance to begin working on their turnaround plan.
The material covers the 3 main areas of business: Sales/Marketing, Operations, and Finance. You will receive business tools to reduce costs, improve productivity, and increase sales. However going to a workshop is not the end to fixing your business, but rather the first step to reaching your profit goals. Workshop participants will be eligible for a no charge business analysis on a first come, first served basis.
The business analysis applies the tools covered in the workshop to the specific business, in a confidential, one-on-one setting. The results form the basis for a customized turn-around plan for your business.
